Sometimes if a servant wishes to communicate with her Derents or relatives, she is always prohibited from doing so by her mistress.
My friend spoke to me that he had seen a lady who had a girl servant about 11 years old. She treat her servant very cruel. She put a cat into the servent's trousers, then tied up both ends of the trousers with pieces of strings, and fine lly held up a stick to strike the cat.
Faturelly it felt so painful that it jumped up and down, and scratched the servent's legs with its claws.
Consequently the servant was badly hurt. indeed very malignant."
